Week one of Library Works
At the end of week one - 16th February 2007, work had commenced on providing the extra car parking spaces to the Welcombe Avenue side of the Civic Centre. 12 car parking spaces will be provided.

The Chairman of Leicestershire County Council, Barry Garner, with the Leader and Deputy Leader of Braunstone Town Council, and local school children.

Officially Launch of Braunstone Town Library - 29th September 2007
The Braunstone Town Library was officially opened by the Chairman of Leicestershire County Council, Councillor Mike Jones, on 29th September 2007.
