Room Hirings

The following rooms are available for hire at the Civic Centre:-

THE MILLFIELD HALL is available to hire from as little as £12.20 per hour on weekdays and £33.50 per hour Friday evenings and weekends. Equipped with a stage, air conditioning, mood lighting and a licensed bar servery. The modern wooden floor is suitable for dancing or sport activities. The kitchen contains a fridge, water boiler, microwave oven, sink with double drainer and 6-burner gas cooker. Thus providing for a full range of function requirements including indoor bowls. Size: 22.5m x 12.5m. Capacities: Theatre Seating 240 / Seated at Tables 200

THE COUNCIL CHAMBER is equipped with heating, extraction fans, coloured lighting, a modern wooden dance floor and a piano. The kitchen contains a fridge, water boiler, microwave oven, sink with double drainer and 6-burner gas cooker. The room is regularly used for meetings, parties and exercise classes. Size : 11.8m x 8.7m. Capacities: Theatre Seating 100 / Seated at Tables 80. The Council Chamber is available from £10.15 per hour on weekdays and £21.30 per hour on Friday evenings and weekends.

COMMITTEE ROOMS a selection of rooms are available for meetings or social occasions for smaller groups. All rooms are carpeted, curtained and fitted with 13amp sockets and wall fans. The Ravenhurst and Winstanley rooms can be used as one large room (Size 12m x 4.5m) or, by using the folding room divider, as two smaller rooms. Capacities: Ravenhurst Room 40 persons / Winstanley Room 15 persons / Fosse Room 20 persons (Size 6m x 3.5m. A small meeting room is available for surgeries, which holds up to 4 people.
