Annual Front Garden Competition

BRAUNSTONE TOWN IN BLOOM 2009!

The Town Council’s annual Front Garden Competition was judged on Friday 24th July. This year we received 5 entries to the competition. Several judges including Braunstone Town Mayor, Mr David Widdowson, and local residents viewed the nominated gardens and were pleased to announce the following winners

1st Prize – Mr G Reynolds of Millfield Crescent
2nd Prize – Mr & Mrs C Dilkes of Kingsway
3rd Prize – Mr & Mrs B Twigg of Avon Road

All winners have been invited to attend the next meeting of the full Council to be held on Thursday 17th September to receive their prizes.
