NEW LEGAL SERVICE FOR LEICESTERSHIRE (Jan 09)

Historically citizens in Leicestershire have not been well served by the public funding of legal advice services, when compared to the City of Leicester. Now that imbalance is being corrected by the Legal Services Commission, which has given a contract to the Community Law Service to offer such a service to the people of Leicestershire in the following areas of law:

FAMILY
HOUSING
EMPLOYMENT
WELFARE BENEFITS
DEBT

For people who qualify under the Legal Aid or Legal Help schemes we can offer advice and representation in the courts or tribunals. Our staff have a combined history of over 50 years experience.
