Parish PlanParish Plan Progress ReportThe Braunstone Town Parish Plan was published in November 2003 and sets out an Action plan to target planning and environment issues affecting the Town raised by local residents following consultation. The Plans & Environment Committee has asked that Blaby District Council adopt the Parish Plan as Supplementary Planning Guidance when during its current review of the Local Plan. The objectives of the Parish Plan is to engage with statutory bodies, agencies, individuals and organisations with regard to community priorities and needs and to help develop a strong, secure, self confident community, free from unlawful discrimination. The following document is a progress report of issues covered by the Parish Plan Working Group. This is a finalised document as at 29th November 2007. A number of items have been finalised, however, there is a number of ongoing issues affecting the Town that the Parish Plan Working Group has agreed to pass on responsibility to the Town Council's Plans & Environment Committee to monitor. Therefore to keep track of any issues after 29th November 2007, please visit our News Page, Plans & Environment Services or download copies of the Plans & Environment Committee Report.
